#BeautifySJ Grant Enhances Silver Leaf Park

Silver Leaf Park now has bright and colorful landscaping surrounding the park sign. The Silver Leaf Neighborhood Association was the recipient of a #BeautifySJ grant which energized neighbors to come together on Saturday, Aug. 25 to define, prep, plant and mulch the area in front of the Department of Parks, Recreation & Neighborhood Services’ park sign. Park maintenance staff and the Volunteer Management Unit guided the park enhancement plans in partnership with the Association. The grant provided funding for supplies, while neighbors donated the labor. For more information, please contact Justin Long, PRNS Deputy Director, at 408-793-5579
